I liked that in the parks round where I stayed in Mitre, people left empty bottles in bunches for the homeless to take and collect the refund. Sometimes it's the small things.
Lovely bit of writing. Berlin fascinates me, but I have never been - but in literature, music, even in old maps I am happy to explore it. I like the 'pirate junkyard' idea. It was there in Brighton in the 1990s, in Margate in the 2010s. I never found a way to make it happen in Worthing.
