I’m excited about this, it’s a real news email from me today.

…obscure British indie singer releases exhaustive lyric collection five years after he quit touring, under the ludicrous delusion that anyone still remembers his songs…

Shush, inner monologue. I’m very pleased to announce publication of a complete, annotated collection of Chris T-T lyrics, as a clothbound hard-back book, Buried In The English Earth.

The book is ready, it exists, and it’s officially out (via mail order) on Friday 2nd December, exactly marking the fifth anniversary of the final Chris T-T concerts.

PRE-ORDER NOW to get your copy on — probably a bit sooner than — Thursday 1st December.

Note: if you’re a paying subscriber to Border Crossing you don’t need to do anything — you’ll get your free copy in the post in the next two weeks (or I’ll be emailing you to ask for your postal address).

Buried In The English Earth includes lyrics to all 108 original songs that I released between 1997 and 2016. I’ve written new annotations for each song and, as if that’s not enough, rock legend, activist and radio DJ, the wonderful Tom Robinson has kindly contributed a foreword.

I think this book is lovely — it’s 326 pages, clothbound in black, with cute silver foiling, then a black and blood-red outer book jacket. Border Crossing has printed just 500 copies and even if it sells quickly, we won’t do another print run in this format. You also won’t find it on Amazon or any other online retail platform, nor in mainstream book shops. So please COME GET YOUR COPY.
